Dr. R. Subramaniyan is an accomplished academician and a dynamic leader with 28 years of experience in engineering education and administration. Currently serving as the Dean – Academic Affairs, he plays a pivotal role in shaping academic policies, enhancing institutional quality, and driving innovation in teaching and learning.
Dr. Subramaniyan holds a B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the University of Madras (1995). He pursued his M.E. and Ph.D. in Electrical Drives and Embedded Systems from the College of Engineering Guindy, Anna University, Chennai, completing them in 2005 and 2016, respectively. His academic pursuits and professional achievements are a testament to his dedication to advancing technical education.
As a researcher, Dr. Subramaniyan has authored 30 scholarly articles published in reputed international and national journals. His areas of interest include Electrical Drives, Embedded Systems, and Digital Signal Processing (DSP). Beyond his research contributions, he has actively participated in and organized numerous academic initiatives, including conferences, seminars, Faculty Development Programs (FDPs), and Short-Term Training Programs (STTPs).
Dr. Subramaniyan’s expertise extends to academic governance and institutional development. He is a recognized authority in accreditation processes, outcome-based education (OBE), pedagogical approaches, and curriculum development. His innovative strategies in academic planning and execution have significantly enhanced institutional standards, ensuring alignment with global benchmarks.
A dedicated mentor and leader, Dr. Subramaniyan is committed to creating an enriching academic environment that fosters holistic student development and faculty excellence. His efforts aim to prepare students for the dynamic demands of the modern world through a blend of theoretical rigor and practical application.
Dr. Subramaniyan is an active member of several prestigious professional bodies, including IEEE, the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE) as a Fellow, and the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) as a life member.

Dr. A. Suphalakshmi is an esteemed academic leader with over two decades of experience in technical education, research, and institutional development. As the Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, she provides visionary leadership to drive academic excellence and foster innovation in engineering education.
Dr. Suphalakshmi began her academic journey with a B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the Government College of Engineering, Salem. She went on to complete her M.E. in Computer Science and Engineering at Annamalai University, Chidambaram, and earned her Ph.D. in Medical Image Processing from MIT, Anna University, Chennai, in 2011. Her academic credentials reflect her dedication to continuous learning and advanced research.
With a strong research portfolio, Dr. Suphalakshmi has published 43 papers in reputed national and international journals and conferences. She is also an innovator with three patents to her credit, showcasing her commitment to advancing technology. Her active participation in over 100 workshops, seminars, and conferences underscores her passion for professional growth and knowledge sharing.
Dr. Suphalakshmi has played a pivotal role in organizing technical symposia, workshops, Faculty Development Programs (FDPs), and conferences, contributing significantly to the academic community. She has served as a convener, coordinator, and chairperson at numerous events and has been an active reviewer for international journals.
Her expertise extends beyond academics to encompass leadership in curriculum development, accreditation processes, and fostering industry-academia collaborations. A champion of innovation and outcome-based education (OBE), Dr. Suphalakshmi is dedicated to equipping students with skills for the future while maintaining a focus on holistic development.
Dr. Suphalakshmi is a life member of prestigious professional organizations such as the Computer Society of India (CSI), Life member of the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), and a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers (IE). Her active involvement in these bodies reflects her commitment to staying abreast of advancements in her field.

Dr. S. Deepa, the Professional and proficient Dean of the School of Arts and Science at Takshashila University, was appointed in 2022, conquers a wealth of expertise and dedication to her esteemed role. With a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Pondicherry University, her fabulous academic journey has remarkably been marked by excellence with an impressive and inspiring research portfolio, focused on EPR spectroscopy. Dr. Deepa’s comprehensive and extensive teaching experience, notably as Associate Dean, Professor and Head in the Department of Chemistry at Sri Manakula Vinayagar Engineering College, Pondicherry, spans over a decade. In Takshashila university she has constantly been consecrating her service persistently for the fortification of the university.  

Prominent role of Dr.S. Deepa:

Around 25 years of dedicated and relentless exposure in education since 2000 and 18 years of determined and diligent involvement after PhD, has ever been focusing predominantly on Research based accomplishments and her innovative and inventive approach have always been resulting with    ingenious outcomes, which would be an inordinate derivation for the present and upcoming generations.  She would perpetually share and contemplate her positive ventures, accomplishing GATE exam (GATE-2001, conducted by IIT, Kanpur), to motivate the younger generation to explore various horizons of excellence. During her tenure as a Professor and HOD in Arts and Science, she had explored various elucidations in the research of Organic and Inorganic fields extensively.

Dr. Deepa, a noteworthy educationalist, has published 16 distinguished publications in International Journals, presented 21 celebrated research papers in National Level Workshops and Seminars, organized by various eminent Institutions and Industries all around the Nation.  She has authored 3 renowned books in ‘Applied and Food Chemistry and Water treatment analysis, which have dynamically paved bounteous path for comprehensive analysis and understanding for the learners and entrepreneurs.  She has delivered various motivational lectures and participated in several debates and discussions, primarily focusing on “Pollution and Pollution control strategies”, and “Social welfare activities”, and organized several health, environmental, and   social awareness programmes in Schools, Colleges and in Community areas to create an impressive awareness in the society. She had played a vital part in the process of “NAAC” accreditation, during her previous assignments and authored a book in the name of “SIGARATHAINOKKI” (towards the ‘Peak of excellence and achievement’) a valuable book for the higher secondary students, who are aspiring for Medical and Engineering Entrance tests. 

Dr.S. Deepa’s role   in academic and non – academic responsibilities are immeasurable and significant.

Dean of the Medical Sciences - Takshashila University

Dr. M. JAYASREE, the Devoted and an outstanding Dean of the Medical Sciences at Takshashila University, has compassionately taken up this commendable mission during April 2024, an exceptional Medical professional from the distinguished Kilpauk Medical College, Chennai, Tamilnadu with an imposing and reassuring record of around 27 years of excellence in her determined career. Dr. Jayasree has started her journey of professional excellence in 2005 with Sri Manakula Vinayagar Medical College and Hospital (SMVMCH), Puducherry, a renowned and revolutionary Multi-specialty tertiary care hospital with comprehensive medical research facilities, and has been continuing her uninterrupted and untiring endeavor optimistically for the welfare of society. In addition to her service, she has published several publications, which have been serving as the primary sources and major referrals for the Medical students and Medical practitioners. She has presented numerous research articles, especially on Obstetrics and Gynecology in National and International seminars, Conferences and Workshops. Dr. Jayasree has written a variety of comprehensive articles in various books and journals, for medical and para medical students, related to the health and hygiene of women. She has been organizing various lectures and presentations on menstrual hygiene for government high school and College girls in many parts of Villupuram district, Tamilnadu along with non-governmental organizations, to create complete and comprehensive awareness and renaissance in health care for women, especially hailing from rural areas. 

Dr.Jayasree  has been an ardent  and active participant in framing curriculum and finalizing the  post-graduate research proposals and introduction to qualitative research, modified assessment pattern ( including OSCE) according to CBME curriculum for undergraduate students.

Dr. M. Jayasree has been a dynamic and passionate member in various associations, such as Executive committee member, Pondicherry Obstetrics and Gynecological Society, Joint secretary -Indian Fertility Society and so on, which would persistently be combating to prevent various unforeseen medical threats against the human society.

Dr. M. Jayasree instinctively distinguishes and shares in the feelings and experiences of others, habitually extending support, kindness, and comfort, which recognize her to connect with individuals on a profound level, developing trust and support to understand the world from others’ viewpoints to comprehend their challenges and motivations.  She always extends words of confidence and inspiration, facilitating to inspire the persons, who are going through a forbidding time. Hence, Dr. M. Jayasree has widely be known as ‘The Doctor of Wisdom, Sympathy and Empathy’, for her   determined and inexorable medical service to the society and nation.
