Ph.D. Admission Notification VI-Batch December 2025 (Fulltime/Part Time)
Takshashila University is established as the 6th Private University in the state of Tamil Nadu under Tamil Nadu Private Universities Act, 2019. The sprawling campus is spread over 160 acres and the University is aesthetically attractive to the extreme, with well-designed and equipped Research Labs for the Scholars to excel in.
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to the Ph.D. Program (Full time / Part time) in the following disciplines:
- ECE
- Physics
- Computer Science
- Management
- Commerce
- Tamil
- Chemistry
- Economics
The entrance test for the Ph.D. Program will be conducted at Takshashila University on Saturday, 27th December 2025 at 10:30 AM.
Prescribed application form is available at the Research office or may be downloaded from the University website www.takshashilauniv.ac.in/ph-d-admission/.
Duly filled-in applications (Hard copy) should reach the office along with required documents and non-refundable DD favoring Takshashila University, payable at Acharapakkam for a sum of Rs. 1000/- for Indian Candidates and $50 (USD) for Foreign/NRI Candidates.
The completed applications should reach the University address on or before 12th December 2025.
The application can be accepted with late fee of Rs. 500/- for Indian Candidates and $20 (USD) for Foreign/NRI Candidates till 19th December 2025.
The fees can be paid online in ICICI Bank Account and payment proof should be attached along with the application form.
Applications that are incomplete or not meeting the eligibility criteria will be rejected. Only qualified candidates of the entrance test will be interviewed. The Interview will be conducted on the same day of the entrance test. Results will be declared after the Interview.
Applicants who have qualified in UGC / JRF / NET / SLET / GATE / M.Phil. are exempted from the written test but must appear for the Ph.D. interview.
Test Pattern
The entrance test shall consist of:
50 MCQ from English and Comprehension, Research and Research Ethics, Numerical Reasoning, General Knowledge
Five descriptive/subjective questions from the concerned discipline.
