MASTERING TIME MANAGEMENT

The School of Management Studies organized an informative online webinar on 11 January 2026 titled “Mastering Time Management: Balancing Studies, Extracurricular and Personal Life.” The session was delivered by Dr. S. Shanthi, Assistant Professor, R.V. Government Arts College, Chengalpattu, and was aimed at guiding students toward effective time management practices.

PURPOSE OF THE WEBINAR :

The primary objective of the webinar was to create awareness among students about the importance of effective time management in today’s fast-paced academic environment. The session focused on helping students understand how proper planning and prioritization can improve productivity, reduce pressure, and enhance overall academic performance.
The webinar also emphasized the need to maintain a healthy balance between academic responsibilities, extracurricular activities, and personal life. By addressing common challenges such as stress and burnout, the session encouraged students to adopt practical time management strategies that support both personal well-being and long-term success.

KEY HIGHLIGHTS OF THE SESSION :


Dr. S. Shanthi Assistant Professor, R.V. Government Arts College, Chengalpattu, shared practical and effective strategies to help students plan their daily schedules efficiently, set clear priorities, and overcome procrastination. The session emphasized the importance of structured planning and mindful use of time in managing multiple responsibilities.
