Disclaimer & Policies
Takshashila University’s Training & Placement Cell is committed to providing every eligible student with fair and equal access to placement opportunities. The following policies govern student participation in campus recruitment:
Eligibility for placement registration is subject to the University’s academic and attendance criteria as outlined above. Meeting these criteria grants a student eligibility to register; it does not guarantee participation in every company drive, as each recruiter independently sets their own shortlisting criteria.
- >> Number of Companies — A student may attend up to 3 company recruitment drives during the placement season.
- >> Offer Acceptance — A student may accept only one placement offer. Once an offer has been formally accepted, the student is considered placed.
- >> Sitting After Acceptance — Students who have accepted an offer are not eligible to attend further placement drives. No exceptions will be made.
- >> Offer Rejection — If a student chooses to reject an offer after acceptance, they forfeit their eligibility for further placement assistance from the TPC in that academic year.
- >> Offer Withdrawal — Students who withdraw from an accepted offer without a valid reason and prior approval from the TPC will face disciplinary action and may lose placement eligibility for that academic year.
- >>Code of Conduct — All students must conduct themselves professionally during recruitment drives. Any form of misrepresentation, misconduct, or disrespectful behaviour towards recruiters will result in immediate disqualification and may impact future eligibility.
- >>No-Show Policy — Students who register for a drive and fail to attend without prior written intimation to the TPC will be suspended from the immediately following drive as a disciplinary measure.
- >>Communication Policy — Students must not engage directly with company representatives at any stage of the recruitment process without prior authorisation from the Placement Cell. All official communication (emails, phone calls) with companies must go through the Placement Cell.
- >>Feedback Submission — All students are required to submit a feedback form after completing an internship or attending a placement drive. This helps the TPC improve its processes year on year.
Eligibility for placement registration is based on the University’s criteria. However, attendance at each company’s recruitment drive is subject to that company’s individual shortlisting criteria, which may vary. Meeting the university eligibility requirements does not guarantee participation in all campus drives.
