Introduction :

The School of Management Studies, Takshashila University, organized an Entrepreneurship Awarness Programme on 24 February 2026 at the Multipurpose Hall under the aegis of the Institution Innovation Council (IIC), Ministry of Education. The programme was designed to cultivate entrepreneurial competencies, promote innovation-driven thinking, and enhance leadership capabilities among students.

Through this initiative, the School reaffirmed its commitment to fostering a dynamic learning environment that encourages creativity, strategic thinking, and the development of future-ready entrepreneurs.

Objectives of the Awarness Programme :

The key objectives of the programme were:

  • To create awareness about startup ecosystems and MSME initiatives
  • To encourage innovation, creativity, and self-employment opportunities
  • To bridge the gap between academic learning and industry expectations

Honoring the Chief Guest :

As a mark of respect and gratitude, the Chief Guest, Mr. G. Seenivasan, District Programme Manager, EDII – MSME-TN, Government of Tamil Nadu, was formally honored by the University dignitaries.

The felicitation recognized his valuable contribution to promoting entrepreneurship and supporting the startup ecosystem in the region. The ceremonial gesture reflected Takshashila University’s tradition of acknowledging distinguished professionals who inspire and guide students toward innovation and excellence.
