Warm Greetings From Takshashila University

As per Indian Nursing Counsil new regulation BCLS mandatory module was organized by School of Nursing on 19.11.2025 The workshop was organized in Takshashila Medical College the sessions were handled by Dr. Kirubasankaran ICU & Skill lab in-charge and his team. (Dr. Revanth Assistant Professor TMCH, Dr. Vasanthan Tutor TMCH, Dr. Rohith Tutor TMCH, Dr. Narendran Tutor TMCH, Dr. Mukesh Kannan Tutor, TMCH.)

Welcome address was proposed by Mrs. Udaya Priyadharshini Assistant Professor School of Nursing Takshashila University.

First lecture session was started by Dr. Kirubasankaran Assistant Professor ICU & Skill lab In-charge TMCH. He has explained the concepts about BCLS and detail on how to use AED. The session was excellent, clear and outstanding.

After the lecture, post test was conducted through google forms.

Second session was hands on training on BCLS and how to use AED by Dr. Kirubasankaran. His demonstration was crystal clear and use full for students.

Following demonstration hands on training for students was conducted 6 students in group totally 8 group performed return demonstration and student were evaluated by BCLS direct observation checklist. Students’ hands on practice feedback reflected as excellent hands on training and competency development.

At the end of the session vote of thanks was proposed by Mrs. Pavithra Tutor School of Nursing Takshashila University. (The student has given the feedback on workshop was very informative for the them and able to enhance their skill in practice.)
