Introduction :

The Faculty of Sciences proudly hosted IGNIVENTION’26, a premier intercollegiate event held on 28th February 2026 at 10:30 AM in the Multipurpose Hall, in celebration of National Science Day Ignivention’2026

This year’s theme, “Women in Science: Catalysing Viksit Bharat,” spotlighted the significant contributions of women in driving scientific research and innovation across India. The event provided a platform for students, faculty, and experts to come together, recognize remarkable achievements in science, and inspire a culture of curiosity, creativity, and innovation.”

Takshashila University observed World Physiotherapy Day on 8 September 2026 with a Health Camp conducted at Takshashila Medical College, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., organised by the School of Physiotherapy for the university’s non-teaching staff. Takshashila University hosted CRESENDO’26 – Inter-School Cultural Fest on September 3, 2026, at the Multipurpose Hall, organised by its Faculty of Engineering and Technology and Faculty of Management and Commerce, bringing school students from various institutions onto a common platform to celebrate creativity, confidence and self-expression. The programme encouraged participants to step beyond the classroom, showcasing their talent through dance, singing, drawing and essay writing in an atmosphere of healthy competition and personal growth.
