Takshashila University organized a one-day expert session on “Glaucoma Awareness” on March 12, 2024.Hon’ble Pro chancellor, Hon’ble Vice chancellor, Respected Registrar, Dean Academic Affairs, Dean Faculty of Science, Dean Faculty of Engineering and Technology welcomed and Honoured the Chief Guest. Takshashila University Allied Health Science students actively participated the event. This programme organized by Health Club along with School of Physiotherapy, School of Allied Health Sciences and School of Pharmacy.Dr.P. Nallamuthu, Professor and Head of Ophthalmology at SMVMCH, Puducherry, raised awareness about the following Glaucoma symptoms: causes, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment. Furthermore, for the past 40 years, they have tested the eyes of our university’s teaching and non-teaching staff.
