Vice Chancellor's Message
It is a matter of immense pleasure for me to be a part of the Takshashila University family as a Vice Chancellor. I take this opportunity of welcoming students coming from all parts of the world, joining the university in journey towards Excellence. We believe in: “Lifelong Learning”. Our motto is: “Creating the Leaders of Tomorrow”, hence we prepare today’s students to meet the challenges for tomorrow by showing them right path by delivering quality education and developing the young minds with ethical and moral values, while boosting their leadership qualities, research culture and innovative skills.
All the programs offered by us are under Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) with Outcome Based Approach.
The flexibility in the curriculum has been designed with industry-specific goals in mind, our curriculum is extremely contemporary and is a result of brainstorming efforts of great think-tanks: a large number of faculty members, experts from industries and research level organizations. The evaluation mechanism employs continuous assessment.
At Takshashila University, Teaching, Research, Consultancy and Innovation are regarded as pillars of success, highly experienced and qualified faculty members, continuously engaged in the maintenance and enhancement of student centric learning environment through innovative pedagogy, form the backbone of the University. We strongly believe in marching ahead in the right direction by providing a holistic education to the future generation and playing a positive role in nation building.
The campus of the university is ICT enabled and all the Schools provide an e- learning and e-connect environment.
